About the Project

September 11 changed everything. Well beyond the attackers' East Coast targets and well past that tragic day, 9/11 has reached into each moment and every household and plunged it into a new, post-9/11 world.

Southern Arizona was not spared. It is home to victims and survivors of the terrorist attacks, their friends and family members, first responders who served that day and people who were simply there. It is also home to a caring community who looked on as the events unfolded, wondering what would happen next.
