When the national leadership of Susan G. Komen for the Cure announced that they were ceasing funding for programs like early-detection mammograms at Planned Parenthood locations, it caused an uproar among the Komen foundation's many supporters.

Although the decision was retracted within days, its repercussions are still being felt.

Jaimie Leopold, executive director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southern Arizona, and breast cancer survivor and Komen supporter Yvette Jackson join Arizona Illustrated to discuss the impact.

Leopold was one of a handful of regional Komen leaders who spoke out in the days immediately following the public decision, making herself available to talk with concerned supporters.

Jackson responded to the decision by posting on her Facebook page that she was 'unliking' Komen, a position that many followed until the decision was reversed.

Several years ago you did a special on Andrea the conductor. During this special a very young lady did a trumpet performance on the TAPS. Do you have this performance with both the video and music. I have an old copy where the video is bad. Would like to get a good quality copy. This was a great performance.
