Disgruntled and disappointed by the Republican-led state legislature's proposals and positions, prominent Tucson Democrat Paul Eckerstrom made a bold proposal of his own: perhaps Pima County should secede from the state of Arizona.
As leader of the Start Our State movement, the former Democratic Party chairman for Pima County and—in a short-lived stint—former chairman of the Democratic Party for Arizona is raising eyebrows.
