Grease Reused as Biodiesel Fuel

The Pima Association of Governments and the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department will hold the seventh-annual Day-After Thanksgiving Grease Recycling event.
Tucson companies EDG Fuels and Grecycle will convert the grease that is collected from all those deep fryers to biodiesel fuel.
Grease can be dropped off at the following Tucson locations:
O’Reilly Chevrolet: 6160 E. Broadway Blvd.
Ward 3:1510 E. Grant Road.
Pima County Industrial Wastewater Control: 5025 W. Ina Road
City of Tucson, Water Plant #2:1102 W. Irvington Road.
One location also will be in Sahuarita, at the Park & Ride Parking Lot at 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way.
