Technology is helping scientists identify unique aspects of the novel coronavirus. University of Arizona researcher Linda Powers studies new ways to detect and understand infectious microbes, and she says generating new knowledge about the basics of COVID-19 is helping lead the fight against the pandemic.

Linda Powers spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph.D professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
