Geoscientist Susan Beck spoke to Tim Swindle, director of the Arizona Space Institute at the University of Arizona.

The University of Arizona is leading a group of international researchers in a major study of how mountain ranges were formed. Geoscientist Susan Beck talks about how recording shockwaves from earthquakes beneath the Andes Mountains can reveal changes still taking place hundreds of miles beneath the Earth's crust.

Susan Beck spoke to Tim Swindle, director of the Arizona Space Institute at the University of Arizona.
