The U-S Surgeon General says loneliness and social isolation can have a devastating impact on mental and physical health. University of Arizona communication researcher Chris Segrin explains why social disconnection is turning into a public health crisis.

Chris Segrin spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph.D professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
