The White House has released a detailed list of potential sequestration cuts in each state if Congress doesn't act to stop the budget cuts from taking effect at midnight Thursday.

On Arizona's list are more than a dozen agencies and programs that would be affected. The largest hit would be to civilian work forces at Army and Air Force installations in the state, a potential loss of $52.5 million in payroll for civilian Department of Defense employees, the White House document says.

Also on the list is $17.7 million in funding for primary and secondary educational programs, including support for teachers' aides for children with disabilities and work-study programs for college students.
