Three municipal elections are scheduled for March 12 and the voter registration deadline is Feb. 11.
The towns of Marana and Sahuarita and the city of South Tucson will hold primary or run-off elections for council seats next month. Voters who wish to participate must register or update information such as a change of address by Feb. 11.
The South Tucson election is by mail, so all registered voters in the city will receive ballots in the mail.
Only those on the permanent early voting list in Marana and Sahuarita will receive ballots automatically in the mail. Others can request early ballots for this election online.
In addition to voting on Town Council candidates, Marana residents will decide whether the town should operate two waste-water treatment plants.
Voter registration forms are available at the Pima County recorder’s office and political party offices, plus all motor vehicle and library branches. People can register to vote or update their addresses online at servicearizona.com.
