AZ Election Vote Canvass Monday

Results of Nov. 6 balloting will become official

Top Arizona officials meet in Phoenix on Monday to conduct the official canvass to approve results of the state's Nov. 6 general election.

The canvass will be held in the historic Senate chambers in the Old State Capitol.

Participating will be Gov. Jan Brewer, Secretary of State Ken Bennett, Attorney General Tom Horne and Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Rebecca White Berch.

It took some Arizona counties nearly three weeks after the election to count all the ballots.

Results are expected to remain the same as a result of the canvass.
