The deadline to register to vote in the Aug. 30 primary election in Arizona is Aug. 1.
Early voting starts Wednesday, when a handful of early polling places open, and mail-in ballots go in the mail to voters who requested them.
A lot of decisions are at stake in the primary, including who the Republican nominee is for U.S. Senate and who’s the Democrat in the 2nd Congressional District. The primary election will also narrow the field in two races for Pima County Board of Supervisors and countywide positions such as Pima County attorney.
Voters will determine who makes it to the November general election.

Other options include registration by mail (using a downloadable form) or in person at the county recorder's office.
