Doctors are racing to achieve herd immunity to stop the coronavirus pandemic. University of Arizona immunobiologist Janko Nikolich-Zugich describes how mass vaccinations give COVID-19 fewer chances to spread infection and prevents new variants from establishing themselves in the population.

Janko Nikolich-Zugich spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph.D Regent's professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
