Building through a pandemic

Habitat for Humanity, a longtime organization dedicated to supporting families in Arizona, has continued to meet housing needs despite the pandemic.

Lumber prices have climbed and subcontractors are almost impossible to get lately, says T. VanHook, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.

But the organization's ongoing work also has an added urgency as home price rise.

Arizona 360's Tony Paniagua visited one Habitat for Humanity site and spoke to a new homeowner.
