Scientists are updating a global database on climate gleaned form Earth orbit. University of Arizona hydrology professor Ali Behrangi talks about how satellite data, combined with information gathered on the ground, is yielding more accurate measurements of rain and snowfall worldwide.

Ali Behrangi spoke with Tim Swindle, director of the University of Arizona Space Institute.
