Traces of the Trade

Laura Markowitz interviews descendants of a U.S. slave-trading dynasty. This Friday, they talk about coming to terms with their troubling family history and healing the wounds of racism.

They participated in a documentary (produced by Browne) that examines the history of slavery in America and the legacy of their ancestors.
