The best of the greatest hits of the Wobo Show: physical theater meets child's play.
Featured on the November 20th, 2025 edition of ARIZONA SPOTLIGHT with host Mark McLemore:
- A new book called “The Gales of November” looks back fifty years, to the wreck of the freighter SS Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior. Author John Bacon tells guest interviewer and fellow Michigander Michael Dauphinais what it was like to write about this uniquely remembered tragedy.
- “The WoBo Show” is a surreal but family-friendly stage event, incorporating physical theater, magic and whimsy. I’ll talk with the two artists who make it look easy, physical theater performer Wolfe Bowart and his apprentice, Xochitl Martinez.
- Spotlight's Storyteller for November is Curt Beall. Find out why he thought he was coming to Tucson to die, only to find a new life. He is actively engaged in helping many residents in the community, including people involved with SAAF - Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, TIHAN - Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network, and PCOA - Pima Council on Aging.
- And, Katya Mendoza talks with a few of the voices from participants in the 36th annual All Souls Procession.
