AZPM's Andy Bade interviewed Bill McGlaughlin, host of WFMT's Exploring Music, late last year after it was announced he was retiring as host after 22 years. They discussed Bill's fond memories as director of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, and about the importance of listening closely to music and connecting to it on a deeper level. AZPM was saddened to hear of Bill’s passing in July 2026. Exploring Music’s encore program for the week of August 10th hosted by Bill, will feature selections recommended by Classical 90.5’s Andy Bade.
