Preliminary election results have just begun coming in.
In Arizona's 6th Congressional District, Democrat JoAnna Mendoza is currently leading incumbent Juan Ciscomani by nearly 20 points. That's one of two key Arizona House seats Democrats are looking to flip this election.
The other is Congressional District 1, where Democrat Amish Shah is leading Republican Thomas Feely by 11 points.
In Congressional District 7, Democratic incumbent Adelita Grijalva is handily in the lead over Republican Daniel Butierez, with about 75% of the vote.
In the gubernatorial race, Democratic incumbent Katie Hobbs is leading by nearly 20 points as well over Republican challenger Andy Biggs.
Other statewide races follow the same trend, with Democrats enjoying significant leads in the Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Superintendent for Public Instruction races.
It's important to note that these results are preliminary, and reflect the fact that a larger share of Democrats tend to vote early. As votes are counted from Election Day itself, Republicans could make up some ground.
