Updated at 10:16 p.m.: Power has now been restored in the area, according to TEP's power outage map. The county reports that ballot processing has resumed.

The Pima County Elections Department temporarily paused ballot processing and counting due to Tuesday night's storm.

"Elections has called for generators and has secured the ballots until the power comes back or generators are installed," Pima County wrote in a facebook post.

Tucson Electric Power estimated that power would be restored at 11:20 p.m. Crews were on the scene restoring access at 8:38 p.m.

The power outage affected the area of E Valencia Rd., S. Campbell Avenue, E. Drexel Rd and S. Country Club Rd.
