“Today” show host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings put out a video message on social media Wednesday, thanking the community for prayers.
"We feel them and we continue to believe that she feels them too," she said.
Guthrie described her mother Nancy as a faithful and loving woman as well as a beloved grandmother in the video posted to Instagram.
She also said that her mother needs medication to survive and not suffer before acknowledging reports of a ransom note. She said that the family is ready to talk and listen but needs to know without a doubt that their mother is still alive.
The video message was posted around the same time as the scheduled vigil at the St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church.

Law enforcement officials returned to Nancy Guthrie’s home Wednesday, Feb. 4. About a dozen investigators were seen at about 5 p.m., some carrying items from the home.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos previously said that investigators concluded processing the home as a crime scene and turned the home over to the Guthrie family.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s department said Wednesday afternoon that because Guthrie’s disappearance is still under active investigation, people “may see activity in the area during this process.”
Authorities are investigating the disappearance of Guthrie, 84, as a crime after she was reported missing from her Catalina Foothills home over the weekend.
Family members last saw Guthrie about 9:45 p.m. Saturday. A 911 call reporting her missing came in around noon Sunday, prompting a large-scale search operation, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
Wednesday marked the fourth day of Guthrie’s disappearance. Officials have not yet publicly identified a suspect or person of interest.
Nanos said Monday she was likely taken from her home overnight, against her will. Authorities are treating it as a potential abduction.
Authorities emphasized Guthrie did not wander from the house and that the state of her home was “concerning.” Detectives collected DNA samples from the home that have been confirmed to belong to Guthrie.
Detectives with the department have collected DNA samples from the Guthrie home that have been confirmed to belong to Nancy however Nanos did not confirm whether those samples were taken from blood in the home.
According to a statement by the department, “He [Nanos] has stated that he does not want to get into specific details about evidence in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.”
The department is also investigating circulating reports about potential ransom notes and is working with respective companies of home camera footage and data that may be available from a pacemaker.
A vigil is planned for 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson. It is open to the public and will be live-streamed on the church’s website and YouTube page.
