Polls have suggested Arizona is up for grabs this election, leading Democrats to invest star power and millions of dollars in the state.
Michelle Obama, Chelsea Clinton and Bernie Sanders all visited the Republican stronghold on behalf of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, who is aiming to turn a red state blue.
On Arizona Week, we take a look at the final presidential debate, hear important moments from the Arizona speeches of Clinton’s high-profile surrogates and look at other ways Democrats are turning up the heat in the state. We’ll also hear how Republicans are responding.
On the program:
- Seth Scott – Hillary Clinton Arizona Campaign director
- Jo Holt – Pima County Democratic Party
- Sergio Arellano – Arizona Republican Party
- Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D) – 3rd Congressional District
