Ending the silence about mental health in Southern Arizona.

- What is the difference between sympathy and empathy? Meet two members of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Southern Arizona program “Ending the Silence”. It is helping to reduce stigma and build better communication between youth and adults on some difficult topics.
- Learn what motivated 17-year-old Tucsonan Ranjit Nair to write and illustrate a book about the emotional experiences of teenagers, called “The Weight of Tomorrow”.
- And, find out how dogs can get special training to become service animals or support companions. Ability Dogs of Arizona offers more than 50 years of experience in the field, and Tony Paniagua talks with the Arizona executive director, as well as a client who has benefitted from their service.
